He reads “luv (love) is” into the name luvis, keeping the question of what love is at the heart of his music. Through music, he seeks to carry emotions that precede words to people living today and to future generations.

He has performed two years in a row at SXSW 2024 and 2025 in the United States, and was featured at SUMMER SONIC 2025. In May 2026, he also performed at The Great Escape 2026 in Brighton, UK — one of Europe’s leading showcase festivals — further expanding his international reach. His appearance on NPR’s World Cafe has helped attract attention from media abroad. “Higher,” the lead track from his latest EP Blue Inside You, was selected for TV Asahi’s EIGHT-JAM “Best 10 of the Year by the Pros” feature in 2025, and reached #8 on Japan’s Spotify Viral Chart.

Back from the UK, he played a homecoming show, eclosion, at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo in June 2026. That same month, he was chosen as the headliner for the opening edition of THE BUSKER Triple Sessions, a live series presented by the Irish whiskey brand THE BUSKER. In July he released the new single “The Bird,” and his debut album ember to ember arrives in autumn 2026, followed by a tour of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
